Hello and welcome to Beatles Now,

Wow, what a few days this has been if you're a Beatles fan.

First, while we were awaiting the release Paul McCartney third 'solo' album 'McCartney 111' when in steps Ringo Starr two days before it's release with the announcement of a new single 'Here’s To The Nights' featuring Joe Walsh,  Corinne Bailey Rae, Dave Grohl, Ben Harper, Lenny Kravitz and none other than Paul McCartney.
The single is taken from Ringo's new  five track EP 'Zoom In' scheduled for release on the 19th March 2021.
There also a two new books celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band Ringo Starr, the soft back edition & the 'signed' edition. 

Meanwhile, McCartney 111 has rec​eived favourable reviews from the music press and Paul has been 'doing the rounds' with a number of interviews including the Jimmy Fallon Show in the USA and a rare interview for BBC1 with Idris Elba which both Paul and Idris seemed to enjoy immensely.

Paul has been busy sharing 'lyric' videos for songs from McCartney 111 but over a few days we saw premieres of two other video gems and a sneak preview of the Beatles Get Back film from Peter Jackson.

​Film maker Roman Coppola, son of film director Francis Ford Coppola directed the 'one man band' video for Find My Way and it's proving very popular on You Tube with over 45,000 views in 6 days. 

The Beatles: Get Back - A Sneak Peek from Peter Jackson appeared on You Tube on 21st December and one can only say Wow! The footage and audio is immaculate and one can't wait to see the Get Back movie in the cinemas in August 2021, it should be well worth the wait.

Paul had been talking during interviews about working on music for an animation film he had been making with director Geoff Dunbar.
​Lo and behold the delightful short film 'When Winter Comes' appeared on the 22nd December. 

If you reside in the UK check out BBC1 & BBC4 on Christmas Day night where you'll find the premiere of Paul McCartney live at The Cavern Club in 2018 on BBC1 and Paul McCartney performing live at the Roundhouse as part of the BBC Electric Proms on BBC4.
