After eight months of Egypt Station releases, Paul's new record company turns to his live catalogue. They release four titles, Amoeba Gig, Paul is Live, Choba B CCCP and Wings Over America in Compact Disc, Double Vinyl LP and Double Vinyl Colour LP formats.
A disappointing release in this 'Milestones' series is the 'Russian' album 'Choba B CCCP'. The album was recorded over two days with contributions by
Paul McCartney – bass guitar, vocals
Mick Green – guitar
Mick Gallagher – piano
Chris Whitten – drums
Nick Garvey – bass guitar, backing vocals
Henry Spinetti – drums
The album was released in Russia in 1988 containing 11 tracks, a run of 50,000 copies sold out almost immediately. A month later a second 13 track version of Choba B CCCP was released. Eventually the 13 track edition was released worldwide in 1991 but in total 22 songs were recorded at the sessions, where are they?
