The late Henry McCullough's forthcoming release 'Ballywonderland ' contains a cover version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and a tribute to the former Wings guitarist called 'Live Long Rock & Roll' credited to Henry & Don Mescall.
It's recorded by 'McCullough's Fusiliers', a supergroup made up of Gary Brooker (Vocals), Paul McCartney (Bass), Nick Mason (Drums), Chris Stainton (Keyboards), Don Mescall (Acoustic Guitars), Albert Lee (Electric Guitars), Paul Carrack & Paul Brady (Backing Vocals), and The London Community Gospel Choir (Additional backing vocals).
There's a terrific interview with Don Mescall at Hot Press about how the song 'Live Long Rock & Roll' came about.
