Paul & Wings had met just about everybody at the Mardi Gras in New Orleans, they also visited the clubs and saw Professor Longhair.
They recorded My Carnival in the Venus & Mars sessions and a cover of the Professor's 'Mardi Gras in New Orleans'. Paul invited him to the studio and played him the recordings and performed 'Mardi Gras in New Orleans'. live for the Professor.
Originally released by Harvest in 1975, the album 'Live on the Queen Mary' was recorded live on the 24th March 1975 at the 'Wrap Up' party for the Venus and Mars recordings.
It's released on the 5th April 2019.
